The splicing display unit can function as a standalone display or be combined into a large screen. Based on specific requirements, a graphics processor can adjust the display size: single-screen, multi-screen, arbitrary splicing, image stitching, full-screen splicing, with optional frame compensation or covering. It supports roaming, zooming, and stretching of digital signals, cross-screen display, custom display plans, and real-time processing of full HD signals. Installation is simple, much like building blocks, and both standalone and spliced installations are easy to execute. The SLCD is a super narrow-edge LCD screen with a width of only 3mm on each side, a tempered glass protective layer, built-in intelligent temperature control, and a unique “fast dissipation” cooling system. Its rich interfaces—such as analog AV, component, S terminal, VGA, DVI, and HDMI—support both digital and analog signals, allowing users to experience true full HD large-screen effects. For display purposes, LCD splicing screens can offer various advantages based on their design and features.

The splicing screen offers vibrant visuals, diverse display options, long lifespan, and low maintenance costs, making it increasingly popular. Though installation is straightforward, to ensure long-term use, the following five requirements must be observed.

- Choosing the Installation SurfaceThe installation surface should be flat and capable of supporting the LCD splicing screen’s weight. Ensure the surface can bear the weight and prevent static electricity interference. Tiled walls may not be strong enough, so choose solid walls for installation.
- Wiring ConsiderationsDistinguish between power cables and signal cables during installation to prevent interference. Ensure proper wire length and specifications based on the size and location of the LCD splicing screen to meet project needs.
- Ambient Lighting ConditionsWhile the brightness of LCD splicing screens is high, excessive ambient light may cause visibility issues. Block strong light sources near the screen (such as windows) and avoid direct lighting. It’s best to turn off lights during operation to ensure optimal performance.
- Frame DesignFor future maintenance, the frame’s edges must be detachable, leaving about 25mm of space around the LCD splicing screen. For larger installations, consider adjusting the margins according to the number of columns. A maintenance channel should be at least 1.2 meters wide to allow easy access for repairs. The detachable edge strip should be fixed last, ensuring a secure fit.
- Ventilation RequirementsInstall air conditioners or air outlets in the maintenance channel to ensure proper ventilation. Keep the air outlet about 1 meter away from the splicing wall and avoid directing the airflow directly at the LCD splicing screen to prevent damage caused by uneven temperature fluctuations.

In addition to these five points, proper troubleshooting during installation and calibration is essential. Focus on checking the synchronization interface, transmission cables, and signal source compatibility. If ghosting occurs, verify whether the cable is too long or thin, and consider replacing it or adding signal amplifiers. Ensure that focus adjustments are made to optimize display quality. By analyzing issues systematically, the inspection and troubleshooting process for the LCD splicing screen can be streamlined for quicker resolution.
